Pros and cons of Modern Luxury DC app for iPhone and iPad

Modern Luxury DC app good for

What a great situation to not have to hunt after the hard copies!
Love DC magazine. Glad its available for the iPad! Please make sure to fix any glitches causing app to crash
Now I see DC on the bookshelf instead of an app icon. The contents are very high quality, smooth, and very trendy graphical. The ads are local which I like. Not too many good articles, but hey, its free iPad magazine.
From my time reading this magazine I do like what it has to offer
Im one person that hasnt liked many magazine implementations on iPad. As an avid mag reader, most of the interfaces dont do the print versions justice. This newest update to DC Mag is an exception to the rule. Check it out... Youll be pleasantly surprised.
Picture quality is great. iPad version is amazing. Easy to scroll and find articles.

Some bad moments

Wont stay loaded, had to go back 6 times. Deleting it since its not ready for prime time yet, too bad.
Takes longer to download the new issue than it does a full length HD movie from iTunes. Mag doesnt scale to iPad viewing area, leaving the text difficult to read. Should have a more experienced dev & User Experience team before releasing to production... The brand is losing subscribers due to the weak translation of a great magazine to an online publication
Takes painfully long to download issues, whats up with "left-over" grey bar at top, crashes all the time, text hard to read, doesnt download issues in background, and on and on. Little effort went in to this app and all the mags with the same UI.
App crashes after a few pages or enlarging screen or advancing pages. Real frustrating because content looks great.
Website requires drastic improvement especially for IPAD. Hard to download and stay opened. Must keep retrying to get to read a few pages then it closes. This happens with all the magazines this publisher publishes.
Pretty disappointing, simple page replicas, no interactivity.
